Welcome to day 37 of my challenge to reach a rapid rating of 2500 ELO! In today’s game, I played with the black pieces. My opponent kicked off with 1. d4, and I mirrored with 1… d5, which eventually led us into the Caro-Kann Defense. They gambited a pawn early on, and while it seemed they had a material advantage, my strategy was to consolidate and gradually improve my position. Curious if I managed to pull off a win today?
